Indians For Guns

I want to buy new indian made ssbl gun. I am from Himachal. I only know visco mandi and shaktimaan ssbl. Anybody in this group know the price range for these guns and pls give your suggestion which gun i purchased in 32" barrel

Dear Javedali,take a look at SBBL made by Bhati and Co.
I don't know the type of steel used in the making,but I can assure you that it's good quality and is lot better than many other SBBL's I have seen. It's well made and has a choked barrel.Price for the same varies from Rs 9,000 to Rs 20,000 depending upon the arms dealer.

There r some good companies like hesbee ,cuzon of Mandi and santokhoo gun works of Jammu if second hand guns r excellent at 3000-7000 price go to any gun dealer and ask.Hesbee single barrell is very popular in Himachal Pradesh .sANTOKHOO gun is heavier modern gun of jammu Khajuria gun works also manufactures guns.

Dear my seniors please give some more knolege on this. And what is the range with 32" barrel and 34" barrel for slug and 4.5 pallets

It depends how u handle the gun if u fire with sitting stance will go up to 100 meters for 4.8 but lethality at 40 yards not meters in Astram no1 will cross 100 meter easily with slug lthality will be very high at 50 meters and can kill up to 150 meters in 32 inch barrell and 20 meters more on 34 meters due to expansion .The 4.8 will sccater at high rate at 30 meter circle up to 30 meter it will be like very dangerous this is minimum .no 6 rarewill scateer the pellets rapidly .Iam sharing my experience I fired no1 special 35 years old with doubble barrell 30 inch no 6 LG and ball infeiror ball of power crossed 130 meter making in iron bar .I fired 23 cartridges and another 17 in air to test in Farm house of known person elley 80 years old LG was awesome I will rate best although banned in India and rest I got deposited to dealer in 10 years back. Most important is how hold the gun in grip it is best for defence even better than rifle . It is my experience experience may vary from others .Now single barrel is disapearing we have in our family now doubble barrel r also going for pumpaction but many members may contradict me after 5 years if someone uses Pumpaction regularly it will be scrap unless alteration r made .Breechloader 12 bore have more life .Even SBBL of 60 r doing pretty job.

Visco is selling for 35,000 I don't have any idea about shaktiman but it would be much less

Prices of SBBL and DBBL Guns have steeply fallen in the last 1 year. You will find excellent ones under 25000 if you search from citizens wanting to sell their weapons . Do not let Gun Shops overcharge you.

These days you can't give away desi SBBL 12 bore guns for free. Desi DBBL guns are a couple of thousand. I am talking of second hand guns.

Only indian gun cousion brother or visco 12sbbl hp mandi make I would recommend otherwise webley 12 bore sbbl.i also have webley till from grandfather father.it is the masterpiece of British gunmaking

U r right but some SBBL guns r just excellent ol done prior to 1985 even doubble barrell r nice as at that time chokes were better particular in single barrell and better metal but due to decrease or no demand now reason being coming of Pumpaction guns . I have seen old single barrell guns can at higher ranges and better hits.One I saw 2- 3 guns in dealer shop one was mehar singh and sons ,second was Santokhoo gun works thris was dbbl Bharat small arms DBBL with fine ejectors each one was nice guns .Mehar singh and santokhoo guns single barrell of 70s were nice guns with better metal.
