I have a WJ Jeffrey side by side Shotgun chambered in for 2.5" or 65mm cartridges. Apart from KF cartridges what are the other cartridges available that will not damage my gun. I really dont want to use Shaktiman.
Is it possible to get any 65 mm imported cartridges in India?

Will we ever get to shoot Sellier & Bellot or Eley in India?

Imported 12 Bore Cartridges are available in India.
W.J.Jeffrey & Co are very well made Guns,
There should not be an issue with using 65 mm. Cartridge of any Make/Brand.
Jim Corbett owned a W.J. Jeffrey & Co Double Rifle chambered in .450/400 Nitro Express.

Jr.

Dear ASIF007,
'Eley' and 'Hull' are the 2 most common imported 12 Bore Cartridges available in India for 65 mm.
Most of the imported Cartridges are brought into India by Professional Shooters.
Professional Shooters generally prefer the 70 mm over 65 mm.
(24 Grams is the maximum/heaviest 'Load' allowed by the Shot-Gun Federation for Trap and Skeet).
70 mm Shell is also preferred over the 65 mm Shell by most Shot-Gun owners, as it carries more 'Shots'.
This marginally increases the chances of hitting a Target.
If you can get in touch with a Professional Shooter, He will be able to help you with imported 65 mm Cartridges.
Regards,
Jr.

Sir I had been advised earlier by our expert Mr Vikram and Mr Mundaire to only use 65 mm for my Jeffrey shotgun.
Looking forward to get in touch with a Professional Shooter.
