What parts does it contains? Does it has a firing pin like rifles use? How does the ejector mechanism works in shotguns? Does Double Rifles (elephant guns) and shotguns are same thing?

Any gun, whether rifle or shotgun, firing a cartridge requires and has a firing pin(s). The ejector mechanism is cocked either by the opening or closing motion of the gun, and released to eject the fired shell by the firing of the gun. Rifles are rifles, i.e. with rifled barrels. Shotguns are smooth bore guns. SxS shotguns and rifles are identical in construction, except for rifles requiring sturdier construction and barrels because of much higher pressures.
