I am thinking of buying a PAG 12 Bore. Does any one have an idea of what would be the price range and if it has problems in feeding or any other issue.

Seems like PAG is not very popular/ available in India. Maybe some of the members outside India may be able to give some input.
Or else the good old DBBL zindabad.

It is not a question of popularity but of availability at affordable prices. IOF does manufacture pump action shotguns, some are available with dealers etc. but then MHA interfered and asked IOF to stop selling to civilians. IOF pump action does have some issues feeding some particular type of cartridges. All this matter is already discussed in details in relevant threads.

Also about obtaining a firearm license, I think. There are enough types, quality and quantity of guns are there at dealers and individuals who are willing to sell.but to get a license for a gun of one's choice is nearly impossible now.they are refusing to license even a muzzle loader. It is better to approach them with a good influence and a person who can negotiate a sum of money for that job to get done. It seems like that every government employee feels himself as supreme court.
Forgive me for my ENGLISH.

Maybe true in some parts of India but generally I have found them to be OK as long as you have a proper follow up and do not try to throw your weight around. I got my license for three weapons without influence and no money paid to anyone, within 20 days of applying.

Pump actions are usually very reliable and will feed almost any make/ brand of ammo without any problem. On the other hand semi-automatic shotguns can be picky with ammo. Unless I'm mistaken even the IOF pump action goes for over a lac of Rupees in the (second hand) market! :P

Cheers!

Thanks Abhijeet, but that is way too expensive for me. I suppose no other Indian manufacturer is making this gun... and if I am correct semi auto 12 bore would not be allowed on a regular AL????

Semi-auto shotguns currently require a PB license and unfortunately no one apart from IOF is manufacturing a pump-action shotty in India.
