Indians For Guns

Hello to all the users of IFG ,

I am from Punjab - Amritsar . Anyone here have any type of info. regarding the Booking of 12 Bore Pump Action Gun ( PAG ) ?
earlier it was closed for the civilians .

Don't think IOF makes it any more. Or at least sell it to non-government types.

As per my last interaction with IOF Jabalpur, 12 Bore PAG is not being sold to individuals either by factory or by dealers on booking.

The only ones available are Old PAGs through dealers.

If you have reliable information, could you share it with us? A lot of people would be interested in a PAG shotty!

The Ishapore Rifle Factory has started producing the 12 bore pump action and I have been told by a source that the
product is superior (whatever that means by Indian standards ) than the old pump action which had feed problems.
The new product is also lighter. Initially RFI will sell only to banks, security agencies, govt. etc. Civilian sales will follow.
Price I am told is expected to be something between 60 and 70 k and it will be sold through dealers.

I always wanted a 12 gauge pump action . I was told that the older product had feeding & ejecting issues , because of the paper cartridges . Also the polymer cartridges did not give any promising results . Hoping these are rectified in the new model . And the fact it would be available for sale for civilians is indeed good news .

My source told me the new gun has been copied on the lines of two US made models. Possibly one is a Remington. I don't have any more information on rate of production etc. but have been told it will take some time before it is made available to civilians.

Any idea whether it got interchangeable choke tubes?

Is there anybody talked with the ofb that when they r launching PAG for civilians .....

Spoke to an officer at the IOF at Ichapur a few months back. He mentioned that Pump actions guns would be introduced in a few months time in a 24" barrel .At the moment they are just being manufactured at Ichapur for supplying to police force. Still wondering what use do the pump action guns have for the police force...
