Please HELP

I want to buy an Imported 12 Bore Gun. One of the Gun House in my city which I know intends to sell me a WW Greener 12 Bore hammer-less Gun. I had a look at the gun it was in a good condition and was firing quite good. Just want to know whats the cost in the market. He was asking for 100k.

Hey Shooter
Can't introduce much as the name suggests max. I am an avid shooter but mostly of prohibited weapons - courtesy work. Of late have developed fascination for keeping it as most of my relatives have it and I also want to keep one.

If the gun is a SXS hammerless and is in good nick- with a tight action, without pitting or rust and in unaltered original condition- a lakh may not be too high though it could/should be negotiated.

Is it possible for you to post pictures of the gun?

Best-
Vikram

Capt.,

I'm based near Ahmedabad and know a few dealers. I could help you with your purchase if you so wish. I'm PMing my contacts.

For starters, the Greener is bound to be atleast 50-60 years old and most in the market will be reconditioned guns. Plus I find the price on the excessive side.

A Greener is no Purdey. The dealer is trying to pull a fast sale.

Ushooter, I didn't get your point

Depends on the Greener - a good facile princeps can be a bargain ... and so can the sidelock ejectors.
Don`t make the mistake of thinking that Birmingham gunmakers couldn`t make guns to compete with the London best guns because the best of Birmingham was as good as anybody in real terms.
