"Recik Freris"
Hello mates!
Wanted to know about a particular shotgun which the owner claims he imported directly from Belgium. The name of the company is Recik Freris, and has 32" barells.
Has anyone heard of this company or have used one?
how does the gun handle?
Have not been able to post pictures or inspect the gun since the gun is lying in safe custody for the bye elections.
Any information would be valuable.
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Jayanta

Re: "Recik Freris"
Raick Freres ( Raick Brothers ) were Liege, Belgium based gunmakers who established in 1807 and ceased trading around 1950. They were manufacturers of boxlock SxS shotguns, double rifles and flintlocks. Quality of the guns varied from very basic to nicely engraved. They were good enough gunmakers but not amongst the best Belgian gunmakers.
