Lovely hammer gun and that too a combination gun! Get to see very few of these now. My father has a .12 bore Simson Suhl hammerless with 30" barrels. It's an absolute beauty.

Great drilling gun and heirloom sad that its leaving the family issue will be 16 gauge ammo or 3030 for that matter isnt easily available in India.Then its a hammer gun I can be wrong but dont expect too much monies for this beauty I would rather see it kept in the family..such guns are pretty rare..

bro 16 bore & 30-30 ammo are easily available in india evin 20 bore .

Meffert drillings / shotguns are known for their stellar quality. The last two digits of the year of manufacture would be marked on the barrel flats.

Is it a peep sight ?
I guess Shaktiman manufactures 16 bore cartridges.
I too have a Drilling 26'', 12 bore SxS & .25-35 win (6.5x52r)Combination.
