This gun is the only triple barrell SXS i have seen.
It was made in 1882 by John Dickson and sons of Edinburgh for Lord Linlithgow.
This is on sale for £25000-30000 in London.
Another reason why I am posting this is because this gun could have an Indian connection and a historical hunting connection.
Unfortunately the sellers couldnt confirm this as they werent aware of the fact.
You see the gun was made for Lord John Hope and was then passed on to his son. now I am wondering if this was used by his son Lord Linlithgow, the Viceroy for the Legendary shoot in Bharatpur where his group shot 4273 duck in one day which is the largest bag of duck on earth ever. Did this gun, in a small way contribute to those numbers?
Maybe we will never know.
I would appreciate it if the members could shed some light on this.
