Ballistol is available in the U.S. but if for any reason it is not available, you can also use Napiers Gun Oil / Gun Cleaner or any other creeping oil that does not harm wood. Not sure if Kano Kroil is safe for wood but if it is it should do the job.

So to summarize:
It is a Beretta 403 Stella made by Pietro Beretta of Brescia between 1947 and 1958. The actual date would be on the barrel, under the forearm.
It is choked full and light-full.

I would assume there should be no issues firing it with standard 2 3/4 field loads?

The more open choke. The barrel fired by the front trigger traditionally has the more open choke in a double. The numbers, (7) and (9), are the constriction in tenth of millimeters. The other numbers,17.5/18.2, are choke and barrel diameter. Very tight barrels and lots of constriction on this gun, by US standards. Should be all right with all 2 3/4" shells, as long as it has 70mm chambers. Probably a pigeon or waterfowl gun. And probably a real kicker with those tight bores.

Beretta, almost traditionally, are inclined to use tight bores ...... but 18.2mm ( 0.7165" ) is very tight even by Beretta standards. Unless the gun is particularly heavy - which it doesn`t look to be - the gun, as Two Rivers says, is going to kick like fury.
