I have just come off the phone to Westley Richards in Birmingham who have looked at the scans and they have no reason to believe that the gun has been restocked. That is their opinion.peterdk wrote:yes the gun in question is a restock, but a very nice piece of wood indeed, bespoke is right though it is not the normal for the age of the gun, the barrels is just a work of art in itself, i could look at those for hours.
