Blitzkrieg why did ask such a simple question , you could have asked the formula to make a thermo nuclear device with layout plan to set up a nuclear reactor . I am sure this forum will definitely come up with an answerblitzkrieg wrote:What are the current Indian Laws regarding , owning a pump action shotgun(12 bore) by a civillian and manufacturing it by private Indian Gun Manufacturers as on 2010?

12 bore pump action shotguns(barrel length not shorter than 20") are considered as NPB single barrel shotguns for the purpose of Arms Act 1959/Arms Rules 1962(AFAIK Arms Act 1959/Arms Rules 1962 have not separately defined pump action shotguns), hence civilians are allowed to own 12 bore pump action shotguns. License should have endorsement for like NPB shotgun/rifle NPB gun or NPB shotgun or SBBL gun/shotgun etc.
Since 12 bore pump action shotguns(barrel length not shorter than 20") are considered as NPB single barrel shotguns for the purpose of Arms Act 1959/Arms Rules 1962, any manufacturer having the license to manufacture single barrel 12 bore shotguns should not have any legal problem manufacturing 12 bore pump action shotguns.
