In terms of Indian shotguns
1. If your on a budget the go for double barrel
2. If your on a medium budget go for pump action
3. If you can spend any amount of money then go for a auto loading shotgun
Price will depend on the quality as some double barrels are more expensive than a pump action and auto loading gun

it all depends on your budget and choice.
there are good semi auto shotguns in 12 bore are available .indian and imported.

best rough and tough is double barell gun u can go for imported also desi ones But imported have good endurance indian co r manufacturing in 3 inch category in semi auto because to save barell and in indian market only 2/3/4 inch cartridges r available they r playing safe but never use crude gatta or paper cartridge in semi auto or pumpaction .
