I having a old SBBL Gun , Hammer type. MAKE: j.Stevens, USA make, Its in good condition, Its with our family for 2 Generations, Now I want to sell it because I have applied for a PISTOL Licence and the District Collector suggest me to surrender my SBBL Licence and get a Pistol licence . Let me know the price of this GUN, Your guidance will be much helpful for me to sell my weapon.

I would think between 8-15 thousands, depending on the condition and the buyer.

You can hold up to 3 weapons of any type on a single license AFAIK. Why surrender an SBBL to get a pistol when you can keep both?

Thank you for your reply, I failed to convince The District Collector, and he issued me the pistol licence as "change of Weapon".
