This is the IOF model which was discontinued as it had feeding issues. Dont think they are banned.

No there is no ban on private ownership of pump action shotguns. You can simply buy one and get it endorsed as SBBL gun.

Re: is Pump Action Shotgun ban in India?
Winchester 1911 is not a pump action shotgun. There is a difference between a PAG and a semi auto. Winchester 1911 is a semi auto

I think all semi auto or self loading long guns(not NPB pistols) are highly restricted/prohibited for civilians. Pump Action Shotguns are not prohibited for civilians. Only IOF stopped selling their PAG to private persons and dealers. They now sell them to private security agencies and personnel like banks etc.

Yes you could always buy a Pump Action Shotgun either an imported one or an IOF one from dealers who have them in their stock or from individuals who are willing to sell their gun only if you can afford the price they quote. There is nothing illegal about it.thunderboy200688 wrote:Is there a way to buy one for personal security ?GNV wrote:I think all semi auto or self loading long guns(not NPB pistols) are highly restricted/prohibited for civilians.
