Army & Navy

Post by pelle » Mon May 20, 2013 10:49 pm

Gentlemen
I have in my collection a boxlock non ejector with this name on.I am familiar with the A & N csl,and the history ,but I have not seen so many guns with their name on here in Norway.Nice gun with some engraving, intercepting sears, and very nice wood.(I will post pictures as soon as I get it back from the workshop) I have emailed University of Glasgow for info, but no reply yet.....The gun most likely a Webley, serial number 24650,London proof marks.
Anybody knows production year?

Ahm.....Rigby .275 on a standard mauser action, serial number 5572.Post WW2??? Rigby was not able to answer me,due to their situation right now, moving to London again.
Thanks
Regards
Pelle
