Still rates as one of the ugliest guns around.
I.5 Lakhs ? That`s 150,000 ?......c. £1775. They sell for under £300 in the UK........or they would if anyone was prepared to buy one.
By the way, it`s a muzzle BRAKE.

Grumpy,
It's ugly all right, but what I still like about this gun is that it's complete history is available, which is rare in India given that old weapons would have normally changed hands a few times.
In a gun starved country like our's where good weapons are hard to come by,for it's condition and vintage I think 1.5 L would be a steal for an avid shooter.
Once spoke to a guy in the mid 90's who was looking for a Beretta Cheetah in 32 /380 with a 12 round clip who was willing to pay 6 to 7 L then.
Have read on this forum in one of the posts that a dealer in Punjab is quoting around 12 L now for a Beretta must be Model 81 or 84.While another in Delhi quoted 12 for a PPK in 32.
And even at these prices there is a small % of folks who will make the call.It crazy but it's true.
Best
Sanjay

Yes, I can understand that a known provenance/history combined with very low use is important in India........Any purchaser would know exactly what they were getting........which was a virtually new gun.
Certainly an ugly gun.......but Vikram and I actually saw an even uglier gun yesterday - can`t remember if it was a Manufrance or Investarm but it was a pug ugly .410 O/U.........spectacularly and horribly ugly.
