My condolences to the families of those who died aboard the Air India Express flight from Dubai which crashed at Mangalore airport today morning.Indeed sad that the plane landed but didn't stop instead overshot the runway and fell into the valley below.

Yes, this is very sad. May the families find comfort in this tragedy.

Lost a few of them who i knew closely. The scenes at the site where really bad. Children crying for help as they burnt alive and we could not do a thing, Tried the very best to save whom we could but all efforts went in Vain. Many died on the way to the hospital, The flames where so intense that we could not even get close to the site for initial moments.

Family members are not even being able to identify the bodies of the deceased.

All that I can say is that we should pray to god to keep the families who lost their near and dear ones safe and give them strength to face this situation.

regards,
V.K.

Just lost a very good friend from my Wipro Days (Mahesh Shetty) in the Mangalore Air Crash.

Was shocked to hear that.......
We have had rides together from Wipro on our way back home as he too stayed close to my house in Mumbai.

After Wipro Days we met a couple of times but …use to ping each other over the phone.

This is a very sad incident....

He was a very cheerful and fun loving person…..
All I can remember is his smile…..

You don’t have to say anything, just look at him and he would start smiling and by the time the conversation was done he would out burst into laughter.

Prayers for him and his family to have the courage to fight these tough times…..
May God bless his soul and guard his home..

Condolences and Prayers for all the ones who were part of the tragic event...........
Regards,
Pramod P
