Withdrawal...

I havent been shooting for more than six weeks.
Am sorely missing it, and will not have the opportunity to shoot until Easter Weekend, when the club benchrest league kicks off.
I havent even gotten ammunition loaded, let alone done my HbN coating for the bullets.
Will probably load up the night before the competition and hope for the best.
The black Powder league also kicks off the same weekend, and in the last twelve months have shot BP only once.
Ah well at least the paperwork for the STG is progressing.

Hopefully when you wear-out a few barrels and burn a few sacks of powder and dislocate your shoulder, that shall be cured.
Happy shooting.
Best-
Vikram

Muy Simpatico compadre!
I managed to get off all my handloads yesterday on the 303 smelly. My first since I bought it.174gr FMJ with 39gr of adi2208.Couldnt chrono the loads. 4 in 1/2 inch ,1 flier takes it to 1.25-6inches low at 50m.
At 100m, none on paper...and I tried this in 6 groups of 5.Finally got 3 on the top frame of the target! dunno whats up.
The Brno mod1 behaves like a charm, consistent 30mm groups at 100m-benched. with lapua and T22 ammo.Yup, its pillar and action bedded with a weaver 2-7scope

eljeffe:
Check the scope, and in particular bases. Are you tourqed to the right limits? I use 10-15 in/lbs on the bases.
It is always the lfyer that ruins the group.
Am surprised at the results with T-22 ammo. I cant get it to even shoot a decent pattern, much less a group.
As for the cleaners:
Well depends on who comes. Some are selvette lookers from Eastern Europe, while some resemble their tanks. But they do the cleaning well, and that is all that matters to me.

Given that I am only home on Saturday and Sunday... yes Sunday. It isnt illegal to work on Sunday... and the EE folk dont mind either. So yes Sunday.
