Wishing All IFGians A Very Happy Diwali

Post by hvj1 » Sat Oct 17, 2009 9:34 am

Dear Friends,
Its been little over a month since I have become a member of IFG, in this very short span of time, I have had the distinct pleasure and the honor of interacting with many IFGians across the length and breadth of this country and beyond.
From the point of view of 'sheer content' and 'knowledge' displayed and shared by IFGians on this forum, that too, with an open heart, has been very revealing. Our IFG-Meet Pune, for example was a resounding success, primarily due to the 'kindred spirit'. It is this spirit which will in future bring us all closer to each other and collectively help us all in achieving the concepts and ideas like RKBA, GFI and I am sure many , many others.
I therefore thank all you guys out there, who have made each day of mine, more meaningful and more exciting!
Once again - A Very Happy & Safe Diwali to all.
Regards

happy diwali to all dear ifgians
im a muslim guy, some hours before i was at my hindu friends place, celebrating diwali having fun firing crackers.on the way driving back home i just recalled what happened in last few hours, and was thinking how nice was the feel. inspite being a muslim i was a part of diwali celebrations, festival not a part of my religion, but very much a part of me.i enjoy diwali like any other hindu,i wait for it and every year make some fabulous memories. i wish how nice it will be if we all stop following the religion of hatred and discrimination and start following the religion of happiness, joy, acceptance and love our country will be a better place. according to me every hindu should atleast have one muslim friend, and every muslim should have atleast one hindu friend and their friendship should not be formal but firm and you will see a time will come when evil like communal hatred will become thing of the past.take care.

Saahil,

Very heart warming and thanks for sharing your sentiments with us.Every word worth more than a ton of gold. Both my flatmates are from Pakistan and they are first people to wish me today.Man made differences can only be overcome by humanity. That is the spirit of these festivals.

Best-
Vikram

Wishing All IFG Members A Very Happy Diwali.
May The Coming Year Be More Prosperous Than The Earlier One.

Saahil,we the populace of this great country had lived peacefully for centuries.Irrespective of religous beliefs.
It's these ROUGES who (we elect ) sow the seeds of discontent and hatred between communities for their small gains.
Time we as a great human race understood the game/scheme of these SELF SERVING SCOUNDRELS and stopped hating/Baiting each other.

Happy Diwali To One And All Once Again.
