I am currently facing typical problem. Unable to pay via paypal. My paypal account attached with HDFC Visa card and while using I am getting this message : This card cannot be used for this transaction. You can complete the checkout with another debit or credit card. Please enter your new card information below.

I have called the bank and they said many customer raised this issue and it will be solved with no target date. Wondering if this problem with HDFC or other bank too?

Another problem. I am unable to add any other bank card

Call up Customer Care Center of Paypal. You might go a bit crazy with the IVR but their staff is VERY VERY helpful.

Thanks Manish. I have already got a reply from them and they confirmed, it is the problem with Banks.
