Tirths,
I know this is not what you are asking for,but I think a good set of free weights, barbells and dumbbells , come at a small fraction of a fancy gym and actually much better than machine weights. There are a lot of complex and isolation exercises to work out most body parts. If you can get a bench, then you need little else.JMHO.
There are a couple of very informative websites about exercises you can do with free weights.

Hi Tirths,
As Vikram said, this again wont be the reply you would want, but Man trust me, the multigym is outdated and absolutely of "NO USE", The Reason: you will never get the desired output apart from that, i have seen my friends doing their excercise in wrong stanz, now they are suffering from Back and neck problems. The other thing you will like to keep in mind before purchasing, the Multigym (of any Brand) gets miss aligned within a month of regular operation due to too many moving parts. Instead I will suggest you in a Budget of Rs. 20,000/- you shall be able to get a membership of any good GYM and still would save and you shall have Trainers as well to monitor your excercise.
This is only my opinion.
RAVI.

I agree with you Vikram! I never used weights. I don't like them. I spent 12 yrs in martial arts and thats the best exercise I know along with yoga. However, there is some very specific needs for which I am looks for the fancy stuff

Hi Tirths,
What I would suggest is a Smith Machine. You don't really need a Multigym, its really not worth the money.

Marry this with some free weights/plates and you're done.

This would allow you to perform most of the compound exercises, Bench, Squat,Military Press etc; safely without a 'spotter' . It has a locking mechanism which takes care of it all, should you need to re-rack the weight when your'e through. Add/Remove a bench as per your convenience. You can have this fabricated locally if you have all the angles figured out. Other things you might want to add to it are, a chinning bar, a parallel bar dip station and a Preacher curl attachment for the bench. If you are not big on chin ups then you can substitute that with a Lat Pull down, just like the one you see in this picture, but adding pulleys and cables would just hike up the cost and complexity(your call).
The benefit of this machine is that its a plate loader so you can just buy plates off the market which fit the collars of the smith machine bar and thats it.With a multi-gym you'd need stacked plates which are a lot more expensive and god forbid if the model reaches end of life, then you'd be searching all over for stacked plates(be it for an addition or as a replacement for a cracked/broken plate).
Incorporate this with some free weights/plates, for which you need a trusty set of bars' one 6ft Olympic bar, one 4-5 ft Olympic bar, one E-Z bar and a pair of adjustable dumbbells and not to mention, as many weights/plates as you need. Wish you all the best in your endeavour.

Tirths,
Not sure if you have any Metro stores in Chennai like we do out here in Bangalore. Multigyms are generally on sale at the metro outlets and cost upto 18 to 19000 for a home gym. Stay fit is the manufacturer. Check the metro store in Chennai if you have one.
