Dear IFG Fellow members,
Are we going to see opening up of import of NP bore weapons any day in the near future.
Is the situation going to be the same as it was before 1984 when an arms licence holder
was free to import weapon of his own choice. Or is the government going to permit any
international companies to sell their weapons in India ever . Recetly there was some
wright up in some leading newspaper that there is going to be some change in the weapons
policy of the indian government , but I could not understand that under what perspective.

one hopes that import will be allowed in the near our life time.
since no one has challenged the policy and not much interest is shown, by this i mean people not complaining or lobbying MPs etc. this has led the policy makers to show no interest.
if you do not kick a sleeping donkey then it will remain in that state.

donkeys are far much better than our politicians.they toil hard but not fortune enough to get a proper food.and our politicians also toil very hard just to fool a common man and to increase their riches.i havent seen a local politician of my place having a iof product, they all have s&ws,berettas, colts.

grewal jee,
ahh masla bahut gambhir hai , there is only one way to open import of wepons (NP).
i.e. All our MP's whome we people select and elect should jointly raise voice and there is no power
who can stop import .
