feeling really sorry for the boy May GOD bless him. Because of some carelessness the entire family will suffer & also those persons whose applications for the grant of arms licences are still pending before the authorities.......

that was too irresponsible for the gun owner to leave the arms so as to get in hand of minor of 5 and & 7 year old. God saved the children from anything worse

Anything worse .... ??????
 Not sure what you mean, the poor five year old kid died (Fatally injured as the post puts it )!! Thats the worst possible outcome for him/her. For the other kid, it would be a mental scar for life.

i took the meaning as 2
Fatal 1
Definition: Proceeding from, or appointed by, fate or destiny; necessary; inevitable.

Fatal 2
Definition: Foreboding (expectation of ) death or great disaster
feeling sorry for the parents, and if the gun belonged to them i think they could not forgive themselves for their whole life

I was surprised to see your post actually, I thought you have missed the word 'Fatal' completely.

Fatal injury connotates mortal wound, deadly wound, lethal damage

Didn't realize that you had deciphered the meaning incorrectly, anyways 'Now you know'.

thanks for pointing that out OUP
i always took 'fatal' in the news reports as that , taking the meaning the wound, dash etc was very serious and disastrous. some words have a different percieved meaning ; remember a gay man use to mean a happy man in school days, offcourse its a different thing now a days

Hmm, the word 'GAY' has been associated with homosexuality recently. However Fatal Injury has always meant the same across these years.Anyways, this incident highlights the need for gun awareness and education.
