IFG Targets

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

IFG Targets

Post by Mo » Sun Feb 17, 2008 6:22 am

Hi Guys!

I've got an idea!

Why dont we print out some targets and distribute them to our local Armouries / Gunsmiths?

They can give them away free to customers! Thats free advertising for us and the shops can brag that they include targets as part of the package.

Here are some that I made: (Legal or A4 Papers can accomodate 4 of these) I've mis-spelt 'Silhouette' in the pics. If its a bother, i'll have it corrected

If anybody would like to have personalised targets, specific game or bigger sizes, post your email address and I'd be glad to mail you one.

Please post in this thread, do not PM. Its easier for me to copy/paste addresses off a post.

Lets have some comments and ideas!!!

Mo.

Nothing to do with the subject at hand but all of a sudden I find that IFG logo quite appealing.

As for the targets just stick to rats and crows, besides the bullseye types or it could upset a few sentiments.

Good work mo !!

Taking prints, will post the result asap.

One suggestion, why don't put an additional colum for range/distance ?

@ Mack The Knife: Thanks! Somehow this logo looks really good in print.. Perhaps we can have this as a second one, only for prints etc. I've added some rats to the equation too...

@ Kanwal: Thanks Bro! I've made some changes. How do you like it now? Did the prints come out well?

nice stuff will really have fun with the rat and crow. maybe you have just catalysed a new match idea. we put them at the longest distances that we can and then scan them and mail em on the board.

Great job Mo keep it up.

@ Sanjiv: Thanks Mate!

Thats a cool one..

Y'know what the cheapest and easily available shatter targets are??? Cheese Balls!! A sumo pack will last you a whole day or even two!! They explode and look great too. Plus the orange colour means good visibility!! try it!

Hey maybe we should make a new thread on this?

@Dev: Thanks Bro!

That'll be a nice idea. We can have our small game/pest hunting session.. And the best thing is, we'd still be this side of the law!!

Hey there! thanks mate!

You reminded me of the logo part! I've been procrastinating for a while now!

Need to churn out some more designs tomorrow for the logo!

Dont print anything yet.. We dont want too many designs floating aorund! lol!!

Also last I heard, abhijeet was looking for royalty to use the logo.. ;-)

I second this !!! We should print T-Shirts with the IFG Logo's. That will be a good way for all of us to advertise this site as well in addition to the targets that Mo is already working on. The T-Shirts will be pretty cheap as well when you order them in bulk in various sizes.

Someone at each location like Bangalore, Delhi etc should take care of giving out the T-shirts to the local enthusiasts.

International members can collect them when they come to India and distribute them in their country ...

Just my 2 cents 8)

Cheers !!!!

@nagarifle: thats a lot of beer! Abhijeet better get a gym membership! lol..

@archer: Thanks bro. Hope you enjoy the hunting session.. ;-)

@Olly: Thanks mate.. Rusty's promised me a couple too.. That'll be fun..

@Leo: Thats a good idea Gopi, but we're yet to decide on a face for IFG.. Primarily my procrastination.. lol.. But I have a few drafts on the way.. Let's hope by end of next week, we decide on a logo..

@Sniper: True.. For those of us who go for events, the merchandise will be a worthwhile ad..
