I am really ashamed but I need to admit, I got cheated recently by someone posing as a genuine CO2 pellet gun seller who contacted me via this portal only.

Cheaters most of the time will contact you via private message (PM). Beware of anyone who doesn’t post openly and contact you via PM.

There is a reason the trading section exists on this forum. Access to it is only on application. When you transact through personal messages, your risk goes up.

I just want to know how he cheated you. If possible can you pls provided details. I know it may embracing but it will help the larger group to be aware with this type of fraudulent persons

Hi,

He approached me via Instagram & then through WhatsApp after the exchange of contact numbers. Payment term was an advance of 50% & balance on delivery. I transferred advance & then the whole term of trade changed unilaterally & the balance payment was being demanded at once else dispatch will not be done. All reasons & talks failed & then finally the guy stopped taking calls as well...

True, hes a cheat and then hell block you once u transfer anything to him. Been a victim myself
