Sir,
The P.V. Manasa incident reasserts the fact that those who have the least regard for the laws of this land can acquire a gun in less than a week to kill someone and take one’s own life while getting a legitimate licence in Kerala is a Herculean task. It pains me that this is the irony of every law-abiding citizen of India!

Every unhappy incident must enlighten the educated. Let us see what the P.V.Manasa shooting incident teaches us:

1. Those who have the least regard for the laws of this land can acquire a gun in less than a week!
2. The incident was an emotional decision. Thanks to the poor quality of our education, it fails to impart intellectual thinking as a result of which the large majority of Indians take emotional decisions.
3. A good number of people in India live in a state of hopelessness, a situation emanating from the utter absence of the overall quality of life with the result that they seldom recognize the value of life.
4. Our education system fails to impart personality development as a result of which they fail to develop self-respect, brave oddities and sustain life.
5. Instead of focussing on attaining high scores and degree certificates, our Education must develop the faculty of critical thinking and personality development in students.

Aideu!

Well written, meanwhile I believe proper education is not what's missing here. Awareness and education are two very different things.

Regulation of online gun sellers is the first step to be taken and also fellow shooters should come forward to spread awareness.
