THE PSYCHOSIS DEMONIZING FIREARMS
We record an average 415 vehicular deaths on our roads DAILY against an average 1.06 deaths involving licensed Fire Arms. Logically, and legitimately, we should inverse our perspective towards both guns and vehicles and enforce a far stricter licensing regimen for vehicles than for guns!
About 150,800 people died in just one year (2016) in which a vehicle was involved. Despite that, vehicles are still being purchased freely and the local governments across India are still issuing vehicle licences.
Homicides by firearm in India were 0.3 cases per 100,000 population in 2016 registering a steep decline from 0.9 in 2002.
