Plinking of a different kind! Incidentally something similar was used by Jim Corbett as well.

The Airow gun has two versions- the .22 cal and the paintball version.

From where is it loaded?? It seems to be loaded from the front end. But in that case the way the guy was handling it, the pellet would easily fall off. Besides to get some sort of velocity or power the pellet needs to have a proper seat to seal the pressure being developed in the barrel before it discharges.

Atulji, some research on google shows that it fires at less than 200 fps. Effective at very short distances.

That guy is a great shot!
Unless there is somebody just off camera shooting the cans with a BB gun

That's what I thought too at first He seems to be using decent sized pebbles/stones from the way the cans seem to go flying!'

Looks like a fun little thing. Does the deal wood test apply to this too

I would rather stick to regular air guns.

The pellet bow is quite ancient, I think it could be the predecessor of the Sling Shot.
I am just wondering how the pellet / pebble / BB clears the hand and bow area (vis a vis the arrow)!

@Kshitij - of course, in India it probably does! You would have to get the stones/pebbles pre approved- anything other than specified stone size would need a license
@Ck kalyanji- yes it probably was a predecessor to the sling shot! According to Jim Corbbett the thumb had to be moved out of the way at exactly the right time after release or else it could cause a very serious injury to the thumb!!
