Soldier's stone

Up in the mountains of Colorado, in United States of America, stands a monument.
A hallowed monument, honoring brave soldiers who fought in a faraway place.
A monument built by soldiers; built with love and respect for their comrades-in-arms who unquestioningly honored their oaths and did their duty.
A monument for soldiers who fought and died for their countries in the misty mountains and lowlands of a faraway land.
On a quiet, lonely mountaintop on the continental divide (that separates the watersheds that drain into the Pacific Ocean from those that drain into the Atlantic Ocean), there is a polished stone monument that honors the men and women who served in the jungles of South East Asia. Not many know about it but some do visit, as evidenced by the artifacts left behind.
There among the stones, placed in a circle around the monument, honoring those who battled in that foreign country, is one inscribed in
Nepali Gurmukhi and Hindi.

Who were the 20th Infantry Division?

A very touching monument for the 'brave-hearts' who laid down their lives while defending, liberty, equality & fraternity

You got that right, Briha.
I was just really surprised to see Indian Soldiers being remembered on a US memorial.

I am frankly amazed to see a memorial for Indian soldiers in the US. Thank you, XL, for bringing this to our notice.

Amazing! Thanks for sharing xl_target very moving.
I think the script on top is Gurumukhi (Punjabi)...

Well, I'm wrong where the Nepali is concerned as they use the Devanagri script, so it is definitely not Nepali.
I'll have to take you guys word for what the other script is. Sanskrit ( I thought Sanskrit also used the Devanagri script) or Gurmukhi. Anyone else confirm that?

Sanskrit uses the same script as devanagri. I closely observed the video again but I could not spot any sanskrit, however there was a moment when the lady quickly scanned over a stone about 2:45 - 2:50 couldn't make out the script.
Some were similar to the Thai script; but I understand that Viet uses Latin script, there are quite a few of those in the video.

I will post a screen grab - I have saved it.

Is not the top script Gurmukhi(used for Punjabi)? Devnagari is the script for Sanskrit and Hindi. Both are different from Gurmukhi. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

The meessage looks like Sanskrit but it may in fact be some teachings from the Buddha in Pali - which was the colloquial language used and encouraged by the Buddha. It was similar to Sanskrit
