Savages.....
As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Re: Savages.....
There is only one way to combat both kinds of savages. 100% RKBA.
Sadly, our utopian over-educated intellectuals try to pretend that "education" and "inculcation of values" and such-like wishy-washy methods can actually work!! That too in a country where a rapist's mother (yeah his mother!!!) moves court to prove that he (the rapist) is a juvenile, whereas the guy himself said that he was 20. So much for the Horlicks (or was it Bournvita) ad which says "ek maa hi achchhe aadaton ki neev daal sakti hai" (only a mother can lay the foundation of good habits).
And even the normal people believe that more cops is actually a solution!!! Remember, after the Delhi Rape, the Thane head cop was castigated for saying that women should carry pepper spray? And somehow people forget that cop who raped a girl in broad daylight on Marine Drive!!
Why do people fail to understand that along with the right to go anywhere, do anything, wear anything, etc., there is also a right (or rather, a duty) to self-defence?
I get a proper headache from banging my head (like an idiot) on the brick wall of people's ignorance, complacency, self-righteousness, and so on!
