Projectile velocity = 440 feet per second

I realize that 440 feet per second doesn't sound like a speedy projectile, but that's how fast cars and trucks were flying about in Moore, Oklahoma during the tornado last night.

Right now, they have confirmed that 51 people are dead.

The story that hit me was the man who said that they pulled a car from off of a teacher who had shielded three students underneath her. Apparently none of them made it. The man had to leave, because his own daughter was still buried in the rubble of his house.

So sad; my prayers are with them all. It will be another bad day, as the weather is lining up to hit Texas and Louisiana this evening.

> So very difficult to understand - We need air & water to stay alive while earth's produce provides us sustenance & growth - >Yet any of these in excess causes disaster...
