Sad Ending indeed.........RIP all..........
Notice that the nose up angle was way too high. 744 usually keep the nose up at about 13 to 15deg. It is being speculated that load shifting caused the accident.

Could be a number of things, elevators getting jammed while rotating, gust, improper rotation technique, amongst others!
These damn planes has so much momentum, its difficult to unstall them in time.
During certification tests in france, a friends father who was the chief test pilot of the firm, stalled the aircraft at around 20000 feet, managing to recover at 2000 feet!!
But then, that was a fully developed stall, not an approach to stall.

The explanation I read that makes the most sense is that it was carrying armor (tanks I believe) and the cargo broke loose and shifted towards the rear of the plane.
A very sad loss, and my prayers go the the families of all the loved ones lost.

Hi Mark, i dint know how correct those initial reports are.
While pallets of cargo can tumble and pile on top of one another, voluminous cargo like vehicles, tanks etc, take up too much space to upset the aircraft loading severely, even if the bindings on ALL the vehicles/tanks get free.
There is very little margin for error this close to the ground.
I am sure, each and everyone reading about this sad news will have the aggreived families in thier prayers.
