Coming to think of it- it isn't a bad idea. Not an 'anytime-call-number' but a once a month conference call on a specific topic, say 'IOF .22 - accurizing and upkeep" or 'National Level competition participation procedure' etc.

I remember Mack once recommending a buddying or mentoring programme that I quite liked- not sure why it did not take off.
