yup! i watched.
all i say that the there are motives behind every trigger pull.
in wrong hands it gives worst results. the person who possess weapons must be disciplined enough to handle and carry a gun, no matter what, taking blind decisions in anger always yeilds sorrow.
and the illegal arms will always be an issue, coz we got an ugly neighbourhood who is always keen to disrupt our harmony.
it was a time when the soviets gave AKs to those who said 'we are socialists  ' now it doesnt matter as it is now called AKMS- produced world wide.

Good documentary! At least the media accepts the fact that most crimes are committed by illegal arms.

In the beginning, when the arms trader is interviewed, he says that these arms come in from Pakistan. I don't believe this is true. If you look closely at the type of arms used in these crimes, they seem to be of govt. issue. That means that either they are stolen from govt. depots/ armouries/ personnel or conveniently bought from unscrupulous elements within govt. organisations. The type of handguns sold and used in Pakistan are way different than what are used here.

Secondly, in one of the press meets by a police officer, he conveniently side steps a question whether these arms are licensed of not. They just don't get it. Owning up to the fact that they have a policing problem will go a long way in the citizenry being alert. But a ostrich head in the sand kind of outlook is bound to back fire on them.
