Anyone aware of knife laws in dallas, texas? Need to send a katana there and then have it shipped to bangalore.Any restrictions you know of?

Knife laws would only apply to carry in public places.

There will be no knife laws controlling what a person can own or have in his house. Therefore there should be no issues with shipping to an address in Dallas or from an address in Dallas.
Your problem, if you have one, will come when it enters India.
