A week back I read about our own women commandos from Punjab on India today,and how they liked using sigs and the mp9s.

And yesterday, India lost one of its 20th century military heroines. Captain Lakshmi Sehgal of the INA died in Kanpur at age 97. A long time back, I had the good fortune of meeting the lady when she spoke at the school I was in.
Heroes and heroines will pass away. Let us ensure their memories do not.

Captain Lakshmi sehgal was the commander of Janshi briged of INA. & Janshi briged is the 1st woman briged in asia.
