Although not mentioned, one of the 3 fired a 'revolver looking object,' according to the cops. It was a blank firing gun. The 3 are now on a 5 day police remand.

No blank guns should be proccured before giving a test. A simple test which makes it clear that the person knows about blank guns or not. It should be made clear that blank is realistic replica and should be used only byby hobbyist and movie prop dealers.
