In west bengal (india) & bengladesh we follow the bengalh calander (named Bangabdo ) to Celebrate the birthday of Kaviguru RABINDRANATH TAGORE.. . & Today is 25th Boishak 1419 .
( 8th may 2012 ) . Today is our holiday & cultural program occoures in schools , college , univercity, rabindra sadan , jorasanko thakurbari , santiniketan , local clubs even in police stations..
