Avatar/Profile photo help pls..

How can one get to upload a snap of own choice as profile photo? I mean how to ensure the restrictions of pixel size, file size etc..etc. Can I amend an existing photograph accordingly? Kindly help.

The maximum size of an avatar photo is 128 pixels wide, 150 pixels high, with a maximum file size of 20.94 kb.
There are plenty of free photo editing programs out there, I like Photofiltre. However, if you need help let me know and I'd be happy to resize a pic for you to upload.
