Hello guys,
you all may find it illogical, but I am strictly against using a live bait for any notorious beast (man/woman eater or cattle lifter)...... IMHO, unless it is secured in a way where no animal of pray, how ever smart, can harm it,. It may or may not be effected after the ordeal is a matter of concern and debate later. AND USING AN INTELLIGENT ANIMAL LIKE DOG, CERTAINLY NOT.

Well, there is a lot of substance behind this humor as well that has triggered my imagination. If they've made Duck and Goose calls, if they can attract deer in rut by rattling antlers, if one can call turkeys, foxes and coyotes within shooting range with recorded sounds of mammals in distress, why not develop something that attracts these man eating carnivores. I remember reading Jim Corbett calling many a Tigers by imitating a Tigress in heat way back in 1920s. All one has to do is to record a corrupt politician's voice and place it next to a stinking pig carcass.....and VOILA!!!!!!

Needs R&D which is driven by money. How many man eating tigers shot in india a year? how many leopards? And will all hunters buy the product? So no one will develop it and if they do, due to purchases being extremely low, the cost will so astronomical that it will be cheaper to buy a dog.

However there is a preparation known to anciant shikaris and its recipe is in old texts it gives out the ?pheromone smell (or similar) and is great to attract big cats. I am fortunate enough to have tracked down that recipe however i am not going to reveal it here as i realise the devastating effect it might have on the tiger population. Any one can view this forum and if a poacher gets it........................

He also called tigers by imitating other males who were challanging each other.
Do you remember him mentioning it takes many years of practice and several bottles of iodine gargles for sore throat. How many today can even knoe what a tigress sounds like vis-a-vis tiger. Ifone doesnt know, one cant practice.
