Though I am not a member to be reckoned as old, however, my view is as under -
1. This is a forum for mutual help in shooting sports and hobby.
2. People here aspire to get good imported stuffs, which is not available in India.
3. Some people are ignorant in legal procedure involved in import
4. Sale section though provides an opportunity but insufficient to fulfill the forums demand, (some times prices are also
)Considering the above (fact if you feel so) I would suggest to open a section for educating and sharing import experiences, knowledge base. (Other than air guns, which has been covered else where).
For example HS code for the items - some times with a copy of assessment orders as different Customs put the same material into different HS code as per their wish and ill knowledge and all are not smart to convince and interpret the customs on their own way. A documentary evidence will surely going to help.
Courier charges vary greatly depending upon the company and size of consignment, sharing consignment and locating cheaper seller would help greatly to all enthusiastic members.
It is also important to identify good websites for online sale in our areas of interest and put them in order some where here.
A new taxidermy place can also be put along side.
Hope the suggestion will be looked seriously.
