What is happening ?

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

What is happening ?

Post by The Doc » Wed Jan 26, 2011 11:39 am

Gentlemen,

I believe that IOF has cut down the production of all civil ammo and arms. The supply to the A/A dealers by the IOF in terms of .22 and .315 rifles and ammo like 12 bore, .32 acp, .32 S&W long, .22 lr and .315 etc has been drastically cut short . Therefore the KF ammo of all calibers is running short and the prices thus have gone further up ! Is it temporary or are we in for yet another rude shock ? Does it have to do something with the proposed amendment to the Arms Act ?

What are your thoughts ?

best,

i donot know whether it is due to supply.but very often except for few, keep raising the price as and when they wish?billed amount for kf.32 is around 42rs and cost paid was 80rs last december. these things can change if the arms act and rules are liberalized.

I had read somewhere that in opinion of bureaucrats, Maoists are getting IOF arms/ammunition, hence this lowering down of production by IOF.

Permanently ? To me, it spells a looming disaster just round the corner for the common law abiding firearm owners.

Really depressing news. This means we will have to rely on foreign amno and shell out more money.

its called marketing policy. withhold the goods. price increases, people protest, people listen and tell you that they care, goods relised price come down.

What the bloody d&*^heads don't seem to figure is that a large proportion of the KF ammo in the wrong hands is pilfered by rogue cops , greedy cops, defense people...generally speaking the government is responsible for most of the pilferage. Logically, arms & ammo supply should then be severely curtailed for government agencies.

stupid, stupid, stupid, half wits...probably inbred as well.
