This is an old Kumaoni tune. Wonderful to listen to and has been a staple marching tune of the Indian Army.

martial tunes are one of the great joys to listen to.
maybe i am biased when i say that.
but here is a great link to listen to them
listen to abide by me , gandhis favourite.
moomal is also quite an old favourite
i am sure you will have your own favourites.
personally i love the army tunes, you can feel their agelessness
