More seriously, it means that the thread in question has either been moved to the trash can - for sale/ wanted threads are regularly moved there (every 30 days or so to be precise)
OR
the thread/ post has been moderated (in case of any content which is in contravention of the forum rules/ policies).

ONCE AGAIN for everyone's benefit:
- ALL ADVERTISEMENTS WILL BE DELETED AFTER 30 DAYS.
- ONCE DELETED YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VIEW THEM and messages similar to the above (you do not have permission to view this etc.) will show up. THIS MEANS THE THREAD/ POST YOU ARE TRYING TO VIEW HAS BEEN DELETED
- THIS DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING ELSE - including but not limited to any personal like/ dislike for felines that any member of the moderator team may have
- IF YOUR ITEM IS STILL FOR SALE/ WANTED - PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REPOST THE ADVERTISEMENT
This has been done to clean up the clutter in the for sale/ wanted sections where most buyers/ sellers never bother to update their posts stating if the items have been finally sold/ purchased etc.
Hope this clears the air and removes any doubts as to any bias towards/ against cats!
