NRAI, like any other organisation has its plus points and negative points. No parent likes their child to point out their mistakes, But good parents do, after some time, they do accept and try to change. But then as we all know some dont. The NRAI too has been evolving, and evolving for the better.
By pointing out the good points in the system, does not mean that we agree with the entire system. But certainly as shooter, who has had very good experiences with the NRAI, I or any member of the shooting fraternity, may not agree with all your criticism. Particularly, if you have not been part of it as most of us have for well over two decades.
Friends, please, I only request you to have an open mind and listen to both sides of the argument.
If NRAI is the problem with its mismanagement? I agree that trials should be about giving an equal chance to all and test everyone fairly. But, what if they postponed it once he was there? Why media and why NRAI? Why not? If an Olympic gold medallist in the prime of his sporting career is forced to consider retiring prematurely because of the petty attitudes and mismanagement, why not make it public? Why not provide adequate information/coverage about the situation to the public about how we treat our sporting heroes? If he is at wrong, that will come out too.amit888_2000 wrote:people pls remember, trials r giving a fair & equal chance to all who work hard.....
giving threats that he will retire is not good for sports....., if he like to retire, than why, media, and why NRAI......still NRAI will be the only platform........outside India there r no issues, where people r true to atleast them selves.......
now abt winning again, good he has the caliber ....and he can do it....best of luck....then go for trials.....
Few days back abhinav's father was interviewed, and he was telecasted saying "I am asking him to retire & he should by now"...
few days back our honourable sports minister, already decided hockey team issue by giving there dues....now that was something, against which system should change......not this........???
now stress----we go out of india, as they train u mentaly, not teach u how to shoot....so stress is a big issue atleast with shooting........

I confess, that I am an unabashed fan of your incredible sense of humour and style of writing, succinct, to the point and extremely witty. I plan to come to Nagaland to shake your hand buddy.

hvj1, that's naga humour, in her highness's land in freezing temperature in between sips of earl grey and bits of crumpets. Very efficient and subtle. The moment he lands in Nagaland, he's back to purple undies, pink tights.hvj1 wrote:Dear Naga, nagarifle wrote:what parents take 21k for membership in to their family and provide zero?
