Indian & Foreign Special Forces Pics

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

Unlike Movie stars, the real pros keep their fingers off the trigger unless they are on target.

I also find the weapons used by these SF units fascinating.

More US NAvy SEALS weapons HERE
Thanks XL, so I do with my very limited understanding of guns. Not sure if you've read the non fiction works by SAS Sarge Andy McNab. and Inside Delta Force by Eric Haney. The weapons used the physical and mental training, the cladenstine missions. Absolutely superhumans...

I watched this documentary on National geographic where they were doing all these tests on Special Operations Commandoes. One Greet Beret Sniper could actually slow down his heart beat before taking that shot. One Navy seal could survive being submerger in ice cold water for many minutes when a normal human would get hypothermia.

One intersting fact that was told to me by one Ex Para SF major was the weapons used are not all that matters, it is the physical and mental strength, the grit, the determination and the training which makes these guys true Spec Ops Warriors...

Nic pictures moin,
The rajputana rifles are a normal infantry regiment.

And just to set things right, the following only are considered special forces in india:
1. S.F. Battalion of the parachute regiment( formerly called the paracommandos)
2. Air force garuda units.
3. Navy marine commandos.
4. N.S.G units.
