Trying to hack my account?

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

there is no any glitch in software - don't make a case from your own mistake

try all again, log out type wrong pass - and that is what you get.
Subal,

Sometimes you may do well to listen to what others are saying. I was logged out automatically and it said that my allowed number of log in attempts have been exceeded even though I haven't tried to log in at all. How is that? It happened not once but a few times and few others too.

Best-
Vikram
As I said there is no glitch in phpBB it self. Number of login attempts can be counted not from actual numbers of attempts you made, but from logins attempts made by cokies too. for example when you are opening Firefox there can be a number of tabs opening same time, each tab will count as login attempt. If cokies not configured properly that can be a problem.

Or suppose you can run custom script something which allow admins to read users PM. then attempt made from script will count too . IMO such script must have and such site as IFG. There is no such things as privacy on internet so there is no such thing as Private Messages too. That should be clear to everyone. If admins do not have access to user PM, how they can be sure that users do not run some illegal activities in PM.

if you guys running such script better to come and openly say about it, that is absolutely OK to have such thing.

as in case of topic starter, he entered password and system asked him to do it again, because entered password was incorrect. - then - PASSWORD WAS INCORRECT.
