Transiting thru Delhi overnight... Any ideas...

Transiting thru Delhi overnight... Any ideas...

Hi Guys,

Although I have a bit of time, about three months I wanted to find out what I can do at or around the Delhi airport. I land there around 9.30pm (Sunday) and my next flight out is at 6.30am the following morning. I'd just like to relax/nap, two Ss (I don't shave) and have a decent meal (Chole Bhatore and Lassi would be just awesome). Please let me know what you suggest.

You chose to come when i'm not in Delhi...tough luck :twisted: where are you for the night? hope the hotel is close?

Asif bhai, The time, place and airline is not by choice. Have a family wedding in July, American only connects thru Delhi and had some miles that I wanted to use up. For now, I do not have ANY plans, I'd just hang out at the airport, worst case. If there is a reasonable hotel nearby, I may hang there for the few hours.

Like I said, its about three months away, July 5th. So, I stand corrected, its actually a Monday evening. I fly out of Chicago on Sunday, the 4th and by the time the world revolves and I land in Delhi, it is 8.30pm on the evening on Monday, July 5th. I figure about an hour to get thru customs, immigration and harassment. Should be out around 9.30pm and have till about 4am to catch a 6.35am Jet air flight to Hyderabad.

book radisson, near the airport, go for a massage, then steam, followed by ur shave, then relax for 2 hrs, after that, go to kabab factory, enjoy endless meals, of ur choice veg / non-veg (including lassi u can have as many glasses as u wish too), chola bathura has to be ordered seperately, go and then relax for 2 hrs, tthen go for swim, and before ur flight have 1 massage again.......

In case u want, i can join u for the same schedule....?

Inder, No plans yet for Bangalore. Have a family wedding to attend and I've not been home in two years. So, focusing on spending all that time with my folks. Have in-laws in Bangalore, maybe we'll visit, but don't know yet.
