If it is true, then my heartiest congratulations to Olly.... :)

BTW (and even though I am not interested in ISSF comps myself) I have not been receiving circulars from DSRA for a while now, something I find decidedly odd. Has anyone else from DSRA also been failing to receive the usual reminders & stuff they used to send out? I hope Col Jaswant Singh is doing all right, he's been doing this thankless duty for all us members since forever.

Cheers!
Abhijeet

Errr ahem me too sneaked into the cut for the GVM and the North Zone. Percentage about 83 or so. Need to practice more with the new Austrian beauty. I have such a long list of excuses...pistol not state of the art, pellets subcontracted to China by Dynamite Nobel, pistol too new  . I tell you if there were points for creativity I would be an elite shooter. :P

Thanks dear Naga, Abhijeet and all dear friends !

Well Dev has well summed up our normal excuses..... Those last few elusive percentile scores are all that are coming in the way of us becoming renowned shots. With Dev getting his Austrian partner (read Steyr) and me soon getting the Swiss one (read Morini), we hope to break the barrier this year at the North Zones or the GVM. Some serious commitment is required though.... but determination is brimming now...

Amit8888, another friend of ours and this forum, did much better than us. He did achieve his renowned shot status earlier this year at the Jalandhar championships...

Rajiv Sharma is now looking after DSRA circulars and despatches. If all DSRA members, who do not received the circulars regularly, PM their names to me, I could pass on the same to Rajiv and ensure that in future all communication reaches them...
